Heather Hislop

Personal/Experience
Heather played volleyball and was captain of her team at Cedar Park Christian High School.
She also played club volleyball for 4 years, 2 years at High Velocity. She is currently the captain
for the recreational volleyball team for the University of Washington Bothell. This will
be Heather's third year coaching. She was the U-15 assistant coach for the last 2 years and
will return as the co-coach for the U-14s team this year.

Philosophy
Volleyball for me is about having fun, learning and continuing to improve your skills.
Throughout the season I plan to give the girls the skills they need to continue to grow and
achieve their goals, both on and off the court. I want the girls to have fun and be able to
create lasting friendships. I will do whatever is in my power to help the girls succeed in both
of these areas as well as be a friend and mentor.
